The bridge is launched using the cantilever method. First, the ramps are lowered and fully extended before the treadways are forward with the full load of the bridge resting on the forward support plate during launch. MEGA is a safe service to use. However, there are some points about user data that you should be aware of.

I had to restore them from Dropbox ‘recently deleted’, a feature that is not available on MEGA. (MEGA does have a trash can, but files moved out of the MEGASync folder, or deleted from a local synced folder don’t appear in it, unlike Dropbox, which even allows you to restore old versions of files that have changed).

I’ve been using Mega for years alongside Dropbox on all my platforms (Windows, Linux, Android). Overall, a bit slower transfers than Dropbox because it can’t update in blocks or de-duplicate, thanks to zero-knowledge, but otherwise it’s practically identical to Dropbox without the pointless (for me) collaboration tools.

Or, the file is duplicated and one remains encrypted w/ my password and the other is encrypted by another (generated pw) which can be decrypted by the link?

In previous tests, it took 24 minutes to upload a 1GB folder. It’s refreshing to see MEGA has greatly improved on those performance times for uploads, especially now that we’re uploading a much larger folder. Download speeds are not necessarily anything to write home about, but they are passable.

No way would I ever use Mega again. I’m currently in a situation where I get an error message saying I don’t have the correct Firefox extension. But I do… I downloaded it yet again. But still, I get an error message saying Mega is not accessible for me. Have I lost all the photos I stored there? I still don’t know the answer to that. This is infuriating!!

especially if you have big files in a single archive. at first, i get the max speed of my fiver subscription. but when it comes to taking 10gb of data back, somehow they will chipped away the speeds DOWN TO ONLY 800kbps.
